Time And Beauty

Each day ticks away like a second

Memories getting flushed down our memory

Time never seem to understand beauty

Neither will beauty ever understand time

 

Am staring blankly at the black sky

With only one star glowing tonight

In the cold of this lonely night

I can feel your fingers running in my palm

 

You are invincible but I can feel your touch

I can see your smile despite the distance between

You can hear me cry and bored at heart

But I guess that is the language of two hearts in one road

 

If only I could capture every moment and freeze it

I would confine every moment I hold you here

Every moment your soft lips rub gently against mine

The last breath before the goodnight kiss

 

I never want you to be a perfect picture

But I adore how you are a picture perfect

I love how you are smile of beauty

And not the contrary

 

I want to stop these days from ticking

Stop these memories from flowing down

Show time beauty and beauty time

Then they’ll understand the beauty of your love

I didn't really like this line, "Memories getting flushed down our memory" the repeated word weakened it to me.
