Prologue

Prologue

A Chapter by Ginny

The night was stormy as a mother wandered the dark streets, confused and lost. This was not where she was from.

She carried a small child in her shirt. This child was sleeping soundly, even with the pouring rain and thunder.

Alas, after hours of walking, the mother came across the perfect house. Three children already, perfect for protection.

The mother crawled to the porch of the house, laid the sleeping baby down, put a note on the child, gave one final kiss, and died.
