 The royal family thought about what I had said and believed me after a few days. Humans, ghouls, fairies and vampires talked. The other species confronted the ghouls about how they had more knowledge, not intelligence. The ghouls hadn’t realized it was wrong to start a war with the other species. They had started two wars, despite the fact that people died and parts of the kingdom were destroyed. The smartest species was chosen to do what was best for the kingdom and they did the opposite. All four of the species talked and decided that humans were the smartest species and they became the leaders. The spell didn’t decide that, but it kicked in after the decision was made and it made sure no one could challenge humans.

    The ghouls continued wanting to start a war with humans, but they never could because no matter how much knowledge they had, it wasn’t the same as intelligence. The spell stopped them.

    The fairies and the vampires needed some convincing that humans should be the ones in charge. We ensured peace with them through normal ways like negotiation and respect so the spell didn’t have to stop them. The deals were honored. These species respected each other.

    The war ended, which was what all of the species, except the ghouls wanted. All of that was on the news over the next few weeks.

    All of the places that closed down because of the war reopened after the war ended. Christian, the other musicians and I continued our rehearsals and the concert was wonderful.

    Over time, my parents reconnected. The spell didn’t get in their way anymore, since Christian had broken it. They got back together after a while.

    Christian proposed to me after we had dated for a few months.
