Self Care, Self Love.

I've been feeling very distant from myself as of recently, and I needed to remind myself who I'm here for,

This time I'm living for me
not for my love,
my parents,
my fish.
Just for myself my home, my bliss
I'm here to bathe in the enjoyment of being alive

and thrive off the time I get to sit back and sigh,
thanking my stars for where I am today
I will not be held back, I will not be put away.

I do love your theme and execution of this lovely poem. So relatable to all women. Great form, flow, cadence and rhyme. We keep giving every day, but it’s so important to take the quality time to care for and give back to ourselves...hooray for ourselves! Brava!
