Amongst the LivingA Poem by Another Mayfly
I walk among
This vibrant world, I breath and yearn. I have a heart That beats, forlorn. And yet I do not live. I wish and dream, love and care, Win and Lose. I have a brain That contemplates. And yet I do not live. I shall never walk among you, I shall never feel the warmth. I won't be a Hero, I wont be much at all. And Yet I live, And breath, And think, But is that life? Is that truly living? Or do I just exist? Among a world that does not speak, Another One among the masses. If that is life, To live to die, It seems a rather sad affair.
