Chapter 1

Just another house party. Last one before the summer vacation ended. The light too bright. The music too loud. Kate sighed and got a cup of punch. She walked out of the back door to find her boyfriend making-out with a random s**t. Kate smoothed out her expensive Stella McCartney dress, she sighed again. Kate had to end her relationship with him, she didn't really like him in the first place, she only went out with him to boost her popularity. He was a player, she was a girl who liked to be treated right, like his brother did. Kate blushed at the thought of Nate, her boyfriend's brother. She couldn't even remember her boyfriends name now, Kate walked over to her boyfriend and pulled him away from the girl by his ear.

"Ow! Leave me alone you twat!" Then he realized it was his girlfriend, his eyes opened wider than I thought they could, he pace palmed at his stupidity.

" We are over... John." Kate said, remembering her boyfriends name. 

"Give me one more chance?" He said giving her a puppy dog look, ew! Like that would work, he had really ugly muddy brown eyes. She winced in disgust and shook her head, making it obvious that it was actually over. I walked away from the player, seeing my best friend Ash over at the side of the garden sipping her drink looking bored. I realized then that I had left Ashley by herself at the party. I walked over to her and she asked,

"You ready to go?" Ash asked,

"Not yet, going to go to the toilet first, meet me at the car?" I ask, she nods and we split up. 

I head over towards the toilets, after waiting for a long time, I got into the bathroom. I looked at myself and I saw:

My long blonde hair curled to perfection, large cool blue eyes heavily circled by eyeliner and eye shadow, and a skinny frame. But that was only the good things the true me was:

Long blonde hair curled hair that hid my-way-too-skinny neck, concealer that covered my face fully to hide the bags and frail sticking out bones, and my figure was skinnier than a twig. I had been eating more than usual but I still got skinnier. I forgot things quickly, and puked a lot, I wasn't anorexic, but I looked it. What was wrong with me? I didn't know, I rushed out of the bathroom, met up with Ash and left the party. My hands became sweaty and my breathing got faster,

" Ash pullover." I said my voice horse, like I hadn't used it in a long time. She  nervously looked at me once and pulled over the car. 

I blacked out.
