Road To Reality

Zoey's point of view

Ring!Ring!

Damn! Why does school have to start so early? I resist the urge to just go back to sleep and pull the covers off of my body, feeling the cold almost instantly. I have just moved to Leeds, England from America. I needed to get away from my parents that ignore me and me, they didn't even care about me. 

I do

The damn stupid voice said from inside my head. Oh yeah, there's this guy that is in my head and we talk quite a lot, maybe I needed a psychotherapist? Nah, I'm completely normal. I grabbed a my school uniform and quickly got changed. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw:

My long crayola red hair on one shoulder held by white flowers, piercing sea green eyes, long lean frame, and cream colored skin. I sighed ( i'm a sighing sort of person ), grabbed a apple from the kitchen and walked out the door. As I picked the map of how to get to the new school, I felt someone staring at my back, I turned quickly ready for a fight. It turned out to be a boy my age standing outside the house next to me, I started walking to the school. The boy followed me like a lost puppy. 

"Hey, I'm Trent" He said, sounding cocky, I hate cocky guys. Always think they can get whatever they want.

"Zoey," I said keeping my voice cold and my face expressionless. He talked none stop all the way to the school which it turned out we both go to. I got through the gates and a lot of slags and s***s surrounded me and Trent, I ignored them and tried to get out of the group of 'popular people'. I started feeling weak, my hands got clammy. Sweat dripped from my face. Everything went black.
