Death Strikes Sudden

Death Strikes Sudden

A Poem by Kenzi Griffin

A spark of life
Left to die.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

A broken family,
The father now dead.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

A lost husband,
A lonely wife.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

A lost father,
Two crying daughters.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

A lost uncle,
An angry niece.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

A golden heart,
Two shining eyes.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.

God simply chose
To take the best.

Broken and alone,
Silent and crying.
