The Heartbreak ViewsA Poem by Kenzi Griffin
He wept silently
His world crashing down around him He tries to stop the tears Things will never be the same His heart is a shattered mess Left on the ground for him to mend But he has given up He doesn't want to give another chance But he can't resist her love. It is like a drug, He can not live without. He breaks other's hearts Just to make his love happy. But sometimes he goes too far. She cries a silent tear. Hidden in the darkness of night. She fakes a smile, wants to move on But he has a hold on her heart One she can not break. Instead, it shatters her, Leaving her broken more Every passing day She slips farther away. The smile fades slowly But still she tries And still she hides. The pain destroys her. © 2013 Kenzi GriffinReviews
