Dreams

I may have escaped

The dreams the devour my sleep

But they'll be back.

The dreams of you,

They invade my sleep

Leaving me feeling the same when I awake.

Knowing we'll never be together again,

But yet the dreams still haunt me

And tonight will be another night.

No sleep will occur

Trying to escape the dreams.

But sooner or later

I will fail, and will suffer the dreams of you.
