Remembrance of My Death

Remembrance of My Death

A Poem by Kenzi Griffin

Around, all around, the angels gather.
My dread grows as the dagger of your words falls against my heart.
It crushes me, and darkly my essence drips to the thirsty earth.
In pain I hang my head while the end of life approaches.
Now alone, my cascade of tears falls upon cold eyes.

This is because of you

Wow. That was seriously elegant and beautiful. The last lines are my favorite. (: Superb word choices. ;)
