No String Attached

NO STRING ATTACHED

 

A lovely music plays

the hummingbird sings

no lyrics to hear

no words to explain

only a soothing sound

wherever she goes

no string attached

reaching the highest notes

she flies grasping them freely

soaring fearlessly

not afraid to be out of tune

feeling so secure

not anxious of losing the rhythm

without accompaniment

or any instruments

she sings with acapella

the song continues on and on

no matter what happens

the melody keeps going

nothing can stop

it cannot be stolen

it’s part of the system

it cannot be broken

this is what will happen

if indwelt with the Holy Spirit within

Acts 20:21-24

21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: 23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. 24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
