What Was I?

WHAT WAS I?

Self-righteousness
arrogance and pride
thinking better
than everyone
nothing but trash
in the sight
of the true
Holy one

To meet the God of justice
no one has the face
to stand boldly
infront of the most
holy of holies
nothing to brag
no goodness
to show off

Should I withstand God
it's ridiculous right
to do this is foolish
hand me a mirror
to remind myself
what was I
before I came
to know Him

Salvation is for everyone
not only for some
God knows every heart
Christians or non Christians
fake or pretentious
real or genuine
don't worry about it
He cannot be fooled
