GrievingA Poem by Himaya KaI know I will see him again .GRIEVING
Not one, two, three, or four No, I wasn’t able to count them all Those stones that struck the helpless apostle That left him bled and dead on the ground
Enough! Please enough! How I wish I had shouted enough to stop them How I wish I had protected him How I wish I had saved him
Yes, I was not there for him He was suffering alone I was not able to stand with him Yes, he was rejected and abandoned
But please don’t get me wrong It’s not because I didn’t care about him It’s not because I didn’t believe what he believed No, it’s not like that, brothers, and sisters
To be with him that day wasn’t really wise For I remember the last word of Jesus Christ Before he ascended He said to us to go into the world To preach and to teach the gospel and to baptize
To let him die without me was the right choice Yes, to leave him alone was the best thing to do Not because I was selfish But for the truth of the gospel to be known
I have peace in my heart that what I did was right When he said that he saw the Lord Jesus Christ When he cried to God not to lay the sin to their charge I believe I have to spare my life to reach out the lost
So, I ran for my life To save much people alive I may be grieving for losing him But I know I will see him again in glory land

WORD July 8, 2021
Acts 8:1-4 1 And Saul
was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution
against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad
throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 And
devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house,
and haling men and women committed them to prison. 4 Therefore they that
were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
