BeautifulA Poem by Himaya KaFeeling so depressed and lonely, looking around everything was ugly.BEAUTIFUL
Back in my mother’s womb got so excited for the day to go out
Imagine that nine full months without light oh, to see the world was a real kickoff
How beautiful the earth it should be something that I wish to explore one day
I wanted to move around and play to swim every ocean and to climb up the tree
But to stay in the cradle for months that’s where I needed to be
For to stand with my bones was not yet okay needed to wait to develop every part of me
“I’ve been waiting enough, mommy not for months but it has been years
already”
“Please let me walk around and see the lovely places where I wanted to be”
But oh, with tears in your eyes no promising words to give me
I felt the pain in your heart that day for even to walk and to run wasn’t really
for me
Feeling so depressed and lonely looking around everything was ugly
But I know to remain that way was not okay to wallow myself in self-pity wasn’t good
for me
I have to accept my destiny allowing others to decide for me
Went with the flow where they carried me did what they allowed even begging for money
I didn’t dream to end up this way but what else can a crippled man do
It’s my fate that brought me here not my dream nor my will
My daily bread was met at the gate it’s in the temple, beautiful! Isn’t it
No need to sweat but only to beg to ask for mercy became very easy
But a great surprise came to me one day not with tasty bread nor with money
But a long-lost buried treasure a restoration of a broken dream
Yes, it’s to rise and to walk and to explore the beauty of the world
It was done by faith and received through
faith faith in the most holy and mighty name of
Jesus
My heart leapt for joy all praises to Jesus alone!
Oh, what a beautiful name it is the name above all names
Jesus the greatest healer the restorer of broken dreams

Acts 3:1-8 Now Peter and
John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth
hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom
they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask
alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John
about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes
upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5 And he gave heed unto them,
expecting to receive something of them.6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold
have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted
him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.8 And
he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple,
walking, and leaping, and praising God.
