With Jesus AloneA Poem by Himaya KaThere were stories but have never been told, but it’s okay for it’s not for us to behold. Like the struggles we have which nobody knows, for it’s better to leave it untold.
WITH JESUS ALONE
Numerous generations have passed Each snooze of the sun and the moon Every nap of the twinkling little stars Several stories were saved in manuscripts Some were engraved in stones and scrolls But some were imprinted in the hearts
A story of darkness that turned into light A story of misery that led humans to glory Like the story of the robber at the cross A simple plea of faith to be remembered Changed his doomed destiny to bliss There’s even a story of unsolicited
forgiveness
Yes, He gave us what we needed Not what we truly deserved In the weakness of our faith He didn’t withdraw himself He showed and spoke to us instead To help us in our doubts and unbelief
When we turned our back in guilt For the broken promises we’ve made He met us at the sea of second chances To tell us that we can still fulfil it We only need to forgive ourselves And to rely on his mercy and his grace
There were stories but have never been told Yet it’s okay for it’s not for us to behold Like the struggles we have which nobody knows For it’s better to leave it untold If it has nothing to do with others Then it must be kept with Jesus alone

John 20:27-31 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
