The Last Chorale ReadingA Poem by Himaya KaBut it was hindered to be shown again. Many were upset but I was in peace, for if it's meant to spread, then no one can stop it.THE LAST CHORALE READING Not a professional writer No credentials to prove Not a bookworm so to speak No, not qualified at all But one day was forced Asked to write for a group A chorale reading for youth How can I refuse If the person who pled So dear and close to my heart And when she did it As if you’re the last resort So, I told her to sit And pray to the Lord To beg for wisdom and truth For the right message to flow And yes, she did it While I was typing each word She’s quiet all throughout Then words started to pour I didn’t know where it came from It didn’t take very long Maybe an hour or more Then we printed the script Then she said, “This is it! Let’s go and let’s practice It’s my first time to do it Record your voice and I’ll teach” Wow! What a spoiled friend she was She didn’t even ask if I wanted it But then again how can I refuse If that’s how confident she was Something that I wasn’t sure about If it was good enough But then her eyes were full of trust So, we started the quest What’s more interesting about it To my very own main leader I asked To read the piece with me Knowing he was also busy Training our own group to win He didn’t know about it Not even today But if he’ll come across to this A big revelation it should be Hope he’ll just lough at it Instead of being angry he’ll be happy with
me For that piece we taped together won the
first place Winning the first place for a novice like me Is truly unbelievable and a miracle As I heard that unforeseen declaration I discovered God’s specific purpose for me That’s the beginning of my writing story If not for that special friend who believed
on me I would not have written and tried to
conduct Those three more-chorale reading piece Which consistently won the second place by
God’s grace And though the last poetry brought some controversy But no regrets for nothing was done without prayers I just wrote what I heard and exposed what’s
needed No intention to cause division To mock anyone wasn’t the goal Only message to open the eyes Of those who are blinded With those calloused heart The purpose is to give light To those whose life were darkened With all the lies and errors from their
childhood But it was hindered to be shown again Many were upset but I was in peace For if it's meant to spread Then no one can stop it Though others spoke ill about it Yet many come to me openly and in secret With tears in their eyes, thanksgiving, they
uttered Some asked for a copy to present it to their
churches Others may find it offensive But for some, it’s a great revival, they
said You see, it’s just a matter of perspective To those who are sensitive to the need To those who truly care for each person Not about their reputation So, before you jump into conclusion Ask the Lord to show you some vision DAILY IN THE
WORD June 26, 2021 John 17:20-23 20 Neither
pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through
their word; 21 That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also
may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And
the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as
we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in
one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them,
as thou hast loved me. © 2021 Himaya Ka |
