The Quest

The Quest

Just don’t force yourself, to fake it is a waste

THE QUEST

It’s hot yet so windy

blowing boisterously

Suddenly the rain

cold yet undrinkable

pouring down heavily

the shiver it gives

yet dryness is felt

like a burning blanket

You’ll run away from it

no comfort to offer

only humiliating effect

This is the feeling

when someone pretends

to be caring and loving

yet hypocrisy is driving

The longer it runs

the irritation can’t slow down

Taking your breath away

The suffocation is real

How can this be put to silence

this true annoying wind

Can you say to the rain

Go away and get lost

or let it stay as you run away

Is it the best resort

or there’s something better here

Maybe you just need a break

not totally eradicate

Just cool down and wait

then see if it changes

if you see nothing at all

then cut it down for good

 The quest for productivity

is to pursue sincerity

If you can’t feel it yet

take time to search for it

Just don’t force yourself

to fake it is a waste

It’s the right source you need

nothing about yourself

It’s the work of the Spirit

not your own righteousness

It’s Jesus who whispers

it’s Him who directs

It’s Jesus who waters

it happens in prayers

It’s Him who nourishes

it’s His Holy Word He uses

Apart from His leading

everything is vain

DAILY IN THE WORD

John 15:1-8

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
