IN QUIETNESS OF HEART

 

The search for pureness

The difference it seeks

The offered promises

The power it gives

 

Searching for unselfishness

Seeking for meekness

Offering all riches

Giving up all worthlessness

 

To be unselfish is to highlight others

To be meek is to consider others’ feelings

To be rich is to respond to the needs

To give up is to see what really matters

 

Highlighting others is not to seek for praises

Considering others' feelings is not to insist your ways

Responding the needs not necessarily with numbers

Seeing what matters is to know the name above all names

 

Not to seek for praises the heart rests in quietness

Not to insist your ways saves relationships

Not to respond with numbers ends self-sufficiencies

Not to know any other names but Jesus cuts off all offenses

 

In quietness of heart is pureness

In saving relationships is making a difference

In ending up self-sufficiencies is enjoying all graces

In cutting off all offenses is the power of God’s forgiveness

John 5:39-47

 

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41 I receive not honour from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. 47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
