WHY SHOULD I BE OFFENDED?

 

Destined to go to hell

But he came to deliver

Abandoned and rejected

But he picked me up

Didn’t know where to go

But he led the way

Nothing to prove to anybody

But it’s him who stood for me

He found me with nothing

But he gave me his all

 

He who made all things

He who owns everything

Everything belongs to him

Everything is for him

My life, my health, my profession

My weakness and my strength

All my failures and successes

All my battles and victories

Nothing is mine

Nothing to hold

 

So why should I be offended

When things are gone

When I can’t see anyone

Why should I be offended

If I have nothing to keep

If I have nothing to lose

Why should I be offended

I know that all I need is him

I believe that all he wants is me

Why should I be offended
