Eternity, eternity
Shine so brightly

Thoughts so worldly
Hearts so empty

Desires for self glory
Plans are so earthly

Show what's necessary
Oh, a shout, "Go away!"

If wishing to stay
Just conform, okay?

No, it's not that way
To be hated is okay

This is your destiny
It's part of the journey

Nothing good to say?
That's normal anyway

Don't forward bitterly
Take a halt and pray

Carry that cross daily
For more insults be ready

Be grateful to this anyway
It's the package of Christianity

What's happening today
It was written yesterday

Choosing to live for Him daily
Expect to experience mockery

Focus to The Word day by day
Do and follow circumspectly

All shall be judged someday
To God who judges righteously
