Will You Mary Me?

Will You Mary Me?

A Poem by Himaya Ka
"

No, not now, I'm so sorry, I'm not ready.

"
WILL YOU MARY ME?

Twinkle, twinkle, little star
Eyes that sparkle reached that far

Wonder, wonder, gazed the moon
Thought forever will come soon

Wishful, wishful, mind so full
Heart is beating like a fool

Come, come, stretch your finger
For here's my offer O my dear

A lifetime partner, I want you to be
Please answer, will you mary me?

Wait, wait a minute, really, this is scary
No, not now, I'm so sorry, I'm not ready

What, what are you talking about
Not that answer, please not that

Breathe, breathe, take a deep breath
Inhale, exhale, say no to death

Look, look, look at the cloud
Just like you, ready to cry aloud

Rain, rain, pour thou heavy rain
Just feel the shame also the pain

Refused, refused, yes, she refused
Feeling betrayed, feeling just used

Accept, accept, that hard truth
Let her go for she is not worth

Move on, move on, yes, move on
Look around, have a clear vision

Open, open, just widen your eyes
But this time think twice or thrice

(Matthew 22:1-14)
