To Hold Or To Let Go

TO HOLD OR TO LET GO

Lord, my heart is fixed for You
Yes, You alone I want to follow

This heart of mine I can't trust
I don't know what I really want

For today I want this and that
The next day I want them out

O how unstable I was and am
I'm begging for Your wisdom

Please tell me when to move
Speak to me what to remove

Should I hold on or let it go
Instruct me Lord what to do

My own desires don't matter
I know You know me better

I'm asking for Your will today
Whether to stay or go away

It's Your heart that I am knocking
For You alone knows everything

Give me strength if I should hold
If it's "Let go" help me to be bold

All I want for me is to be fruitful
All I need for me is to be useful

Draw me close to Your purpose
Remove whatever is not Yours

Make me an answer to a prayer
Wherever it is let me come over

Let Your will and purpose be done
Bring and unite us for Your kingdom
