Dear God, now it's Your turn

Let me celebrate the special days
According to how you want it to be
If you want to solo me
Then just let it be

If I should be with people
Then go ahead and bring me
But I only have one wish
Not a wish list of material gifts

Please bring me not
To those who don't want me

To those who don't desire me

Please just bring me
To them who really want me
Not out of pity
Not for self-glory

Number of invites came to me
Not one, two, or three
But only two are meant to be
One was here, and the other was there

A walking distance
Yet willing pay for the taxi
Willing to wait for me
Didn't eat until they see me

From miles away
Yet willing to pick me
A back and forth drive
Yes, they did it for me

A simple prayer for the season

A joyous time with special people
