Never been so secure

As I look back yesterday
It makes me marvel today

Looking what's behind
It wasn't an easy climb
Those pushes and pulls

The grip with the bruises
The banging of release
It could have been worst
I could have been lost

Oh, it didn't turned out that way
An expectation fail for the enemy
What he thought I should be
Is not what he saw in me

Was it because of my own might?

It's about Him who never let go
So committed since the day I said "I do"

The day I said I do believe Him
The day I prayed I do accept Him
The day I called Him my Redeemer
The day I decided to surrender
