The Shining Knight

THE SHINING KNIGHT

 

Year twenty-twenty

A clear vision is what we expect to see

A fruitful year and victory

That’s what we thought it should be

 

But it’s the other way around

Everything just turned upside-down

Prosperity and security are nowhere to be found

               All we could find is fear of the unknown

 

The first month of the year, we hear this bad news

Instead of glad tidings, it’s the spread of the virus

Sudden death of some fellows

The unstoppable mourning and sorrows

 

Things have changed drastically

Not for good but with all negativity

Our lives are affected greatly

We are overshadowed with all the misery

 

Can we still see the light?

Can we win over this fight?

This battle seems so tight,

We need the Shining Knight!

Take heart you who are weary

For the Savior came to us one day

He who is mighty

Is still with us today

Merry Christmas everyone!

Cheer up for Jesus has already won!

In the year twenty-twenty one 

We declare in faith that the virus shall be totally gone!
