Music In The Rain

Music In The Rain

A Poem by Himaya Ka
"

A hush from heaven shuts up everything

"
MUSIC IN THE RAIN

Droplets of nails keep falling
Piercing the marrow of the soul
Stealing the breath of the spirit
Calls the body to surrender

Drizzles of queries never stop
Whispers of doubts keep blowing
Thunders of mockery keep yelling
Lightning of shame keep laughing

Desires and dreams are freezing
Faith and hope are shaking
Fears tremble the muscles
A hush from heaven shuts up everything

Sweet sound of music in the rain
Peace, love, and joy begin to sing
All promises join in a chorus
A coda of assurance ends the nightmare

Droplets of nails keep falling
Piercing the marrow of the soul
Stealing the breath of the spirit
Calls the body to surrender." Here absolutely beautiful work, it's difficult to write about rain that's already well known and wrote about several times in history and other millions of poems starting with the atmosphere of rain being the supernatural God. But in your case you get a unique way of reading about rain how you compared the sounds of it like " nails falling from the sky" cause it's very noisy. The tranquility and complete reverie or a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts, a daydream induce by the storms. Alan Watts said once " The sound of rain needs no translation." In the line " Desires and dreams are freezing
Faith and hope are shaking
Fears tremble the muscles
A hush from heaven shuts up everything." How all the unhappiness and problems can go away from the sounds of heaven. I like the Zen feel you incorporated in this fine poem. This is my favorite. Keep writing sincerely your friend in writing and life
