The Raven In The Wilderness

The Raven In The Wilderness

A Poem by Himaya Ka
"

Take it, and eat!' It's the seed that you've planted Be nourished and live!

"
THE RAVEN IN THE WILDERNESS

Called to tell the truth
But was brought into a trial
It's an oral defamation
The prosecutor said
The allegation was added
Involvement to a cult
Then the verdict was read
"Guilty beyond reasonable doubt!"
The gavel sounded
Hands were chained
The mob's pointing finger
The angry eyes of the judge
 O what a shame!
The officers were ready
Leading the final destiny
But before it happened
Everything turned to black
When eyes were opened
Where are the judge and the accusers?
Nowhere to be found
Everything was silent
It was an empty space
Locked up to that place
But no desire to be free
Better to be that way
Better to stay away
Suddenly a scenario of beauty
A flapped from the sky
The wind's melody
The sand moves gracefully
The horizon whistled
The sun smiled
The stream burst
The happy fowl in the air
Oh, the raven in the wilderness!
The beak cued and said "Rise up!"
A full basket of fruits was laid
"Take it, and eat!'
It's the seed that you've planted
Be nourished and live!
Hesitant but did eat
While taking a bite
In mind was a question
"What's next after this?"
Inside the heart "Oh no, not again!"
Then the raven said
"Don't think about it
Just rest well first!"
Then it flew away
Yet it came back
Still with sweet fruits
Until when would it last?
A question was asked
"Not yours to find out
Just sit down and relax!
You need to be ready
To take another journey
There's no need to worry
I'm with you all the way."
