A Slow Fade

A SLOW FADE

(Psalm 119:113-120)

My, O my, people just love to laugh,

And there's nothing wrong with that.

Laughter is a good medicine I believe,

Provided that no one is hurt just do it.

Yes, no one must be hurt!

Making someone as a laughing stock,

Due to his or her wrong and foolish act,

Doesn't permit us to humiliate and to mock.

Let's not forget how a Christian should behave.

We're not kill joy we simply know how to respect.

Though enticed with people's stupidity,

We think and pray before we get carried away.

Let's not forget our identity who we really are.

Don't be changed with the foolishness of man.

Their mistakes will be ours if we're not vigilant.

So be careful for it's a slow fade my dearest friend!

Let's remember when our lives went amiss,

God didn't come to us with curses and ridicules.

When we were playing with our own dirt,

He was not watching and cheering.

He took us from the place of corruption.

He covered us from that shameful situation.

He did not add insult to our injury.

In judgment He remembered grace and mercy.

Let's think before we share!

We are meant to share the good news.

Not the crazy mistakes of some fellows.

For if we do, it's not funny, it's a mockery!
