Stop Messing Up With Faith!

STOP MESSING UP WITH FAITH!  

Psalm 119:57 

Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.  

Faith without love is nothing. Stop messing up with faith! (1 Corinthians 13:2). Faith. Hope. Love. The greatest is love (1 Corinthians 13:13). Love is everything! For love is God (1 John 4:8). And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist (Colossians 1:17). All things are created by Him, and for Him (Colossians 1:16). So the question now is, are you the kind of person God designed you to become? Are you in the place where He wants you to be? If not, it's sad to say that, God can't use you just the way you are, and He can't give you what He intended you to have. So be in the right place first, my friend! 

Who you are is not a mistake. If you are living in a doubtful life, the problem is not you, but it's the kind of belief and principle inculcated in your mind by your messed up and corrupted environment. Your true identity is found in the word of God. But the problem is, you don't know the word of God, that's why your life has turned into a big confusion.

How will you know that you are in the right place? Well, let's go back to what matters most: everything is about love! So, wherever you are right now, have you sensed that love? To feel love is to feel valued, do you feel it? Your value is not measured with how much money you have in the bank, it's not about having a perfect marriage, or your high educational attainments, or any other achievements in life. The true value of your life is found in LOVE. GOD. JESUS. God gave His only Son for you, to bring you back to Him. JESUS, the Son of the living GOD suffered at the cross of Calvary; His blood was shed to cleanse you from sin that brings you to confusion. He died, and rose again, so that He could give you a perfect life in heaven with Him. Yes, He desires you. He loves you. Your life matters to Him! Now the question is, have you accepted His love, His forgiveness, His hope? It's not yet too late my friend! You may accept His love now. But the choice is still yours! For love will not force.

Maybe you already know about the love of God, but sometimes, you wonder why you still find yourself not at peace with Him. Do you know what the real problem is? It's not love but faith. Faith is the problem! 

A lot of people, even Christians, are messing up with faith. They think that by holding and thinking positive of what they believe to be true will make their expectations happen. There is only one absolute faith that will keep us going. Faith on the Giver not the gift. Faith on the Person, not on things. If our faith is in Christ alone, and we don't doubt about His love for us, for not giving this and that, then, that's the only time that our faith becomes everything: for we are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).

How will you know that the faith you are holding on is purely from the Lord, not just a delusion? Well, it's common sense that matters, my friend! First, you have the word of God (Romans 10:17 & John 7:38). Second, His word is supported with His guidance (Isaiah 30:21 & Psalm 32:8). He arranges the circumstances in your life according to what He intends to happen. It's not you who make things happen; you don't manipulate. It's all about Him. You don't create your own light to be seen; He lights the path for you. Yes, He acts on your behalf (Isaiah 64:4). Thirdly, everything comes to fruition.  A fruitless tree has to be thrown into fire (Matthew 17:19). Lastly, there is peace in your heart that no one or no circumstance could make you feel miserable no matter what situation you are in (John 14:27).

If you have been praying for so long, and it seems like you didn't see anything happens. Then, maybe you have to think again, and pray harder, with a heart, ready to listen, whether the answer is a no, yes, or a wait. Or maybe God is already giving you an answer but you did not listen because it's not the kind of answer that you would want to hear. Do you think God is unkind not to answer your prayers? When was the last time that you've prayed to Him earnestly to show you the way? Then, what happened next right after you pray? Then, believe that that's the answer of God; let go and move forward! Let go of all the doubts, and move on and walk in truth! Just trust and obey whatever the Lord has called you to do, and leave all the consequences to Him. You'll be fine. Yes! You'll be okay.
