This war of health changes life's cycle
Hearts revealed through uttered words
Bitter, sour, salty, and a little of sweetness
It all depends what's in and on the tongue

Pit of darkness is such a bitter taste
Face so sour whose body laid on bed
Salty houses in all places just to preserve
Sweet breath of prayers from those who care

Not to belittle the pain of death
Not to ignore the struggle of illnesses
Not to judge the feelings of imprisonment
But to be grateful is still a choice

Unheard voices is on the air
Music played and heard in silences

It shows what really matters
It reminds how short life is
It teaches us how to live
Yet to learn is still a choice

It's up to you what you choose to see
It's up to you what you choose to listen
It's up to you what you choose to believe
But for me I simply choose to live

Every breath I take is such a gift
A scenery of beauty is mine to view
The sound of hidden truth is mine to hear
It's right perspective that keeps me going

There's a peace that no one can give
There's a joy that no one can steal
