BLINDED!

Psalm 115:2-4 & 8

2) Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? 3) But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. 4) Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. 8) They that make them are like unto them; so as everyone that trusteth in them.

How long have you been praying? How dark are the scars of your knees for kneeling, yet until now nothing is happening? Are you not tired? Not until you pray to the true and the living God will you hear the answers to your prayer. Not until you open your eyes to see the truth of God's Holy Word will you come to know His marvelous plan for your life.

Many are blinded, simply because they choose to believe the wisdom of man more than the wisdom of God. Therefore, they cannot experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding because their hearts are hardened. Are you one of them? If yes, what made you decide to believe what you believe?

May the Lord open the eyes of your heart as you come boldly into His throne of grace. God can heal your spiritual blindness. Seek, and you shall find. Ask, and it shall be given you. Knock, and it shall be opened unto you. But do it in humility not with pride. Allow God's very own perspective of worship lead you to see the true light. Stop living in darkness. Come and see!

Kind of strange that with all the kneeling and praying, the begging and genuflecting, no religion has shown a better disease avoidance rate, a better cure rate, or any sign that there is a powerful being who gives a damn. Almost makes you think no one's listening—or doesn't care.

Kind of strange that no one is blaming this being for the suffering millions around the globe.

But still, with every recovery, people shout their religion's version of, "Thank God!"

Seems a bit unfair. Humans have to actually do something before people give us credit for an accomplishment.
