BROKEN STRINGS

BROKEN STRINGS

You can't sing the melody until you are fixed!

BROKEN STRINGS

I held you with my hands
Embraced you with my arms
Played with you with my fingers
And adored you with my lips

Didn't want to let you go
All I wanted was to hold you
Imagination was running to and fro
Yearned to bring you wherever I go

Drastically I noticed the change
It's not anymore the same
Can't figure out how you became
The music turned so strange

Tried to check on you upside down
Impatiently looked on you with a frown
Then a strong force wanted me to drown
And a mocker wished me to look like a clown

What happen to the sweet melody
Where is your comforting harmony
Why are you so silent lately
When will I hear you again openly

Stared at you at the corner
Good memories with you I remember
We used to be a perfect partner
But now a perfect stranger

Have I used you too much?
Have I hurt you with my touch?
If I did, O what an ouch!
Please be fixed at my couch!

O broken strings
What a misery you bring
Let me fix you as I sing
Please don't take my voice like a sting
