IF I'M NOT, I CAN'T AND I DON'T


I can't give what I don't have
I can't teach what I don't learn
I can't speak what I don't hear
I can't show what I don't find

I can't explain what I don't experience

If I'm not, I can't and I don't
If I am not welcome I can't get in
If I am not asked I can't answer

If I'm not instructed I can't go
If I'm not filled I can't pour out

No, I don't insist for I am not an inducer
No, I don't beg for I'm not a pauper

No, I don't chase for I'm not an animal
No, I don't force for I am not a criminal
No, I don't hold for I am not a chain
