I Will Go

We will never know until we go

I WILL GO

What I wanted to be I wasn’t sure

For the path I take was so obscure

My heart and my mind was clouded with my failure

That made me afraid to face the future

 

Then You’ve caught my attention

You’ve said “My child, listen to my instruction”

You’ve shown me Your direction

But my heart was full with hesitation

 

Then You made me look back

Through Your faithfulness I did not lack

Though my enemies came to attack

You defeated them all for I did not trust in any luck

 

So I will go to follow You

I will go because You said so

And I will go not because I need to

I will go because this is what you and I love to do

 

You reminded me of your great salvation

You let me see my destination

If I will or not follow Your instruction

I will be held responsible with my decision

 

So to You O God I made my plea

To let me know what You wanted me to be

And I cried dear Lord have Your own way

For I don’t like to go astray

 

So why should I be afraid

If I know it’s You who commanded

This walk of faith will never be wasted

For I know my God can be trusted

 

If I fully trust in You O God

Following You is not that really hard

So with You O God I’m moving forward

For I know You will be my great reward
