Relying on God

Dependent on YOU

 

Rising early will not suffice to let me stand, walk and see YOUR path clearly

Meditating YOUR word won’t guarantee that I’ll be ok for the rest of the day

Talking to YOU for an hour can’t satisfy my soul completely

‘cause thinking myself without YOU for a moment could let me go astray so easily

 

How can I live without YOU my LORD?

How can I walk without stumbling if YOUR hands are not there holding me?

Surely I’ll fall; no doubt I’ll go astray

‘cause I’m completely dependent on YOU

 

LORD, please help me to abide in YOU constantly

Let my heart desire for YOUR guidance all the way

Make my soul crave for YOUR will everyday

Help me not to fall; from YOUR sight help me not to walk away

 

Before I’ll make a decision, please let me know what’s in YOUR mind

Before I’ll ask for something, dear GOD, let me see what’s in YOUR heart

Remind me LORD, what really matters to YOU

Oh LORD GOD, let YOUR thoughts and desires be mine

 

I’m completely dependent on YOU

Help me not to go astray

Search my heart and let me see YOUR will
