Learning to praise God in the midst of trials

PERFECTION

 

GOD of all creation

The Author of my salvation

Your sovereignty is beyond measure

You work according to Your own pleasure

       

I may not know all Your intention

For allowing me to face these trials and temptation

But in my heart I am so sure

That in You I am secured

 

All the pains and my affliction

It is for my sanctification

My situation might be obscure

But I know it’s You who holds my future

 

I may suffer again and again with my body’s weak condition

I may not reach the glorious path of promotion

But it does not matter even the world will look at it as a failure

For I know the beauty of Your nature

 

My greatest dream is to see and experience Your perfection

So why should I get discouraged if I know my final destination

The pain I feel may always recur and recur

But I trust that You are my only perfect cure

 

So instead of desperation

I sing in adoration

These infirmities are nothing but a treasure

For now I see and experience the joy that is so pure

 

Thank You Lord Jesus for all the trials and tribulation

Thank You Holy Spirit for Your constant medication

The healing that comes from Your Holy Scripture

Makes me feel even better more than before!
