Tribal Chant

Tribal Chant

A Poem by Gina Ansa

The forerunners ran so that we could walk boldly. Oral and on point the tradition was metaphysical and ad hoc clearly! Teachings from the ancients that we nearly forgot sadly Wisdom was wealth and wealth is health was taught in Swahili passionately!

While shamans’ spoke of the importance of wisdom and community to the Akan daily. The Hama knew that Wisdom was like a fire that burned slowly and continually. Fire that had to be taken from others like the Somali who kept it alive bravely!

Wisdom is strength and strength is power so like the Masai discover yours imminently! For knowledge without wisdom is like water in the sand saith oba of the Yoruba mystically !
