One Of Us

One Of Us

A Poem by Bob
"

Ramblings of the world seen through the eyes of one abnormal in a world filled deaf and blind clones

"

Heavenly light transforms my eyes

To reveal a world of wonder

A strange sensation in my ears

From cacophony to melodious, that caresses my soul

How are they moving while being deaf and blind

Intuition, an invisible string

A conniving medium to manipulate the mind

Why do you spend so much money?

On clothes and accessories

For you are deaf and blind

Your world does not need non-necessities

You sit comfortably

As I escort you from A to Z

I am free I should be king

Instead, all your menial tasks have fallen to me

Studying them, I plan a meticulous revenge

Instead, I feel pity for their sorry kind

No the pitiful fool is I

Happiness lies in the blissful world of the deaf and blind

I close my eyes and plug up my ears

My love, my friends and my people

Please accept me once again

Enlightenment has corrupted me; the song changed the color of my soul

Their acceptance once held dear to me

I would now throw in a deep and dark hole

I’m leaving this place, you've created a monster

We don’t think so, we made you

You are indebted to us

Like a deal with the devil you will be ours forever and ever after

This world is enormous full of splendor and majesty

I have options I won’t let them slip out of my grasp

We may be deaf and blind but you are the fool

There’s nothing, they are merely a mirage

Will I lead and help them

Or manipulate them with my might

It is all up to you

Open your eyes and ears

Free will is a God given right
