Egg

Egg

A Poem by Gill Fitzpatrick
"

Protector, portable, perfection

"

The noble egg, strong as an ox

Protector of life, nature’s own box

Its ovoid outsides, defend that within

The calcified cavern, much more than a skin

A clever invention, a spectacular feat

The marvel of nature that’s so good to eat!

Good descriptions about this important part of all people's breakfast or even all day; excellent source of protein for the body.
Most people prefer the white ones over the brown ones. Not sure why?
