Ode to a Bean

Ode to a Bean

A Poem by Gill Fitzpatrick

A short description of that fantastically versatile food stuff, the baked bean

Ode to a bean

Sundog planetoid

Glorious globe

Surrounded

Naiant

Almost wading

Toast protagonist

Bean

Yes, very versatile and nutritious. You got a smile from me for this one. My eldest grandson visits in his lunch hour most days. He works close by. I have to have a good stock of beans. Beans on toast with a huge amount of grated cheese. Sets him up for the afternoon:) A meaningful bit of brevity for my family. Pleased I stopped by to see your ode:)

Wow! Sounds great.
Diamonds are forever but baked beans are better! What an original theme, how many similar do you have up your sleeve. Gill. More, please. :)
