Called a Christian

All I am is in Jesus
I don't need to be different
And I don't need to be the same
All that matters is that he set me free

As a christian I should be mocked
Not for my looks or personality
But the way I mirror christ in everything I do
Christian is not a compliment or title to be worn
But an intended insult that displays what I truly am

I cannot criticize what you have stated in the work posted, they seem valid, they sound true. The layout of the poem is good, the structure good. The style is a collection of statements about yourself and informing us tat we should mock you and insult you, or rather we should find the title Christian an insult.

Your aim I guess is to provoke, and I think you have succeeded in that.

90% of my poetry is written as my feelings at that specific and precise moment. This does not dictate my feelings at all times just how something or someone made me feel right then. I have quite a few of these that stray off into their own path that follows none of what i intended to to originally. I usually cut these short and start a new poem almost instantly. Therefore most of the shorter poems are confusing based on my other works which seem to reflect an open minded and welcoming individual, all about love and understanding.
