For a Friend

For a Friend

A Poem by Gillian

I could start with a thousand words
Of flowery verse or beautiful metaphor
Casting light and praising you
But there's no need to be hyperbolic:
Is it too simple to say I love you?
Ours is a bond too organic
To pinpoint the start;
A bond with no shame, no secrets,
No need to lie.
I could probably fall into bed with you
And not care what people think -
My friend - my dear - I have never loved another such!

I love it Gillian, a beautiful love story, I just found it, I felt that way, at the beginning of a relationship, why ! did he have to cheat and lie.
