Cast Out To The Rocks

Cast Out To The Rocks

A Poem by Gillian

She was the sight no one saw

As it wagered too much belief,

The sound no one heard

Because silence was expected -

I saw her change into a ghost;

Now a wisp of sheer semblance

Fracturing into a clandestine space,

Left to loll in self - containment.

I love the idea of "seeing someone turn into a ghost". So powerful and sad at the same time. Also, "self-containment" is amazing. Thank you for posting this.
