Lava Lamp

Lava Lamp

A Poem by Gillian

Will I ever know the beauty

Of floating suspended

By the warrmth and light

Emitted by an unrelinquishing amnion?

Will I ever know the grace

Of freefalling, constantly

With perfected malleability

In a never encroaching space?

Will I ever know the vitality

Of a life in flux, fortuitous

With ceaseless wonder

Til the entrancing end?
