The sudden impact of your words

weigh down on my heart..

You are clueless to my pain.

 

Do you dare say those words in my presence..

Have you any clue.. The effects you have on me?

How could you hate so much..

The very thing I live and breathe for..?

 

My soul, no.. my entire being,

yearns to be set free with that one thing..

My life.. poetry.

 

Though what I write may sometimes be dark,

it is just my weary heart

being truthful..

 

We all have our ways,

Let me be!

Don't laugh in my face at what I love.

I cant take any more insults,

I cant take any more hate!

Just.. Stop!

 

You've said before,

It's easier to compliment me

Than insult me.

 

That is somewhat true..

But don't lie,

and don't spew false compliments!

 

I'm just asking you to be

a bit nicer.. but without lying.

Maybe just be more careful of what you say.. Please?
