Sometimes, the only thing I want to do is say hi.

Not a full-on conversation, or I'll just say "bye!"

I'm not trying to be mean,

I'm just trying to be me,

And all I want to do is say hi.

This was cute. There are times when a simple hi or bye from a friend is all the acknowledgement a person needs to create a smile. Thank you for crafting such a fun little piece of poetry. Was much enjoyed.
