was inspired from a comment I made on a poem of mine and musing on love and Listening to Sade Written Jan. 24, 2015

Loves daydream

In a daydream
I wish it was real,

But these feelings
they race like a
freight train.

This daydream is you
my mind upon romance.

 

My thoughts floating
upon love musing words
and feelings.

In this daydream world
I am in only the romantic's
understand my racing heart.

 

Covered scented vanilla
flowers linger in fields
of caressed love.

You've compared your love to a flower. There's a famous poem somewhere about that. The heart is capable of feeling the most delicate thoughts. It is sensitive to love in the same way a flower is sensitive to the sun. It's okay to be romantic. It is a state of mind most enjoyable.

Thank you I love her music and have a obsession with Vanilla smells I use perfumes like that but vanilla candy are very inviting so my older sister says and vanilla is. I wish we had vanilla flowers here. Thank you for your kind review and comments. God bless. Benita

I wish that daydream was real as someone was on my mind
but some day I know in the near future it will happen maybe not now but someday
there will be much happiness then but god helps me I stay a pretty happy and peaceful soul. well I have had dreams that are not just dreams when I know something is going to happen I get a feeling all through my bones and I feel it, it is hard to explain but I think you understand what I mean. too...and one time it came to pass.unfortunately, which resulted
in tragic circumstances.

well it is for someone else not the one I am with as he can be so negative
this other is just like me :) but he has feelings also but if anything ever happens
will be only how god wants it to be upon his timing and in his way but I know it will be just fine. Thank you :)

Is Sade still releasing music or is it from the past.Enjoyed your poem.I wonder how many day dreams actually play out as dreamt ?Very few I'd imagine,but it would be nice to be wrong.
