Did you put peace into your cart ?

This was For the Christmas Holidays but I hurt my hand and I couldn't write or post poems for so long drove me nuts.

What's in your

baskets when you

walk into the stores?

Did you put  peace

and good will to

men into your cart,

Or do you focus

on the hustle and bustle

the negative things

of the world.

Peace isn't in the stores

on the shelves on display

nor does it come in a bottle,

It is Jesus it is

joy good will to men.

The love we show

is Jesus' lighthouse

in our hearts,

You can't buy  Christmas

peace it isn't in a bottle  not

in material things.

No it's not in chocolate candy

that only last for a while

then the comfort goes away,

But Jesus' peace is always

there even when you're

broken and crying.

Jesus see's and knows

your pain cry out to

him today,

Confess your sins

and welcome him into

your temple he will

change your heart.

And once the change

starts  you'll not want

the worldly things  any more

there will be more self control

and you won't crave them.

Abstain from fleshly lusts.

Abstain from fleshly lusts.

It's a on going war against our souls.

Love not the things of

the world do you think

the world gives peace.

Only king  Jesus is

the  prince of  peace

not the world.

So what did you put

into your basket?

Did you pick up

stress fear anxiety

hate anger disagreement.

Or is Jesus upon  your

mind is good will to men

and love  and Gods will

in your cart,

Or is it your will in your

basket where you don't

follow his will you follow

what you feel.

So what will you

put into your Heart 

will it be Jesus  good will

to men  love kindness?

Or will you put hate

disagreement anger

or blaming someone

for things they didn't do

or hating someone

because  of their skin color,

I will walk in peace

and your skin color and

race won't make me hate you.

I will walk in love  I choose

to have Jesus if he isn't

in he isn't in your heart

you may hate if your not

taught  it's wrong and there

will be no peace in your heart.

So before you say someone

is hateful because of their

skin color look at how they

show their heart.

So my heart won't be

hate and un forgiveness

it will  be love like Jesus.

When God has your

heart  he has your mind.

So I'll ask you again

this Christmas will peace

be in your cart in the

heart of your steps.

There will be peace, love

good will  to men  but most

of all that will sing in my spirit

and it will be in my basket.

So don't pick up the

worlds hate and problems

nor your family worries just

pray and give it to God.

I won't carry  around

depression and feel sorry for

myself.

Even when December is over

there will be peace I will

pass that joy on to another

person in pain be a blessing

to those you encounter

in life always.

I've  put  peace Jesus

and love into my heart

spirit and joy and that will

be in my cart.
