Pink ribbon ballerina shoes

Pink ribbon ballerina shoes

A Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoet
"

Inspired by the pink ballerina shoes picture. written June 24, 2014

"

Pink ribbon

ballerina shoes.

Dance in the

moonlight,

Shine brighter

then any diamond.

Whisper  to the

passionate dancer within,

Dance in your pink

ribbon laced ballerina

shoes.

Shine like the brightest

star twinkling in the skies.

Dressed soft dark pink

ribbons and silk as she

cascades across the floor.

Satin heart arrayed in

pink covered in grace and

poise.

I liked how the video made the words seem real and that you got all that from a picture! You should do something like that again where you write a poem based on an image.

I like the poem and the video. A good read and nothing as beautiful as a perfect dancer.

Very lovely, Benita. It reminds me of my childhood experience with toe dancing. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful. Few steps for a dance in this busy life is just what I want to enjoy. Nice poem. God Bless.

this poem also reminds me of how we dress and dance in pink to symbolize the fight against breast cancer---pink is in...and the tune is soothing.
